Decision 2004

This WAS the most important election of the year!!!!!

It was "High Noon" at 5:30 on Thursday the 26th at D&J Variety where supporters of Dave Zimmer and Father Pietramale were gathered for the big showdown.

Neither wanted the other to win, no one wanted to lose, so the election commissioner declared this race a draw.

The Cedar County Theatre did not want to see this race come down to the pawning of possessions or the sale of real estate.

The two "winners" of this election will decide who will appear on April 1st and who will appear on one of the other three nights based upon their schedules.

We'd like to thank all the candidates for participating in Decision 2004.  The bravery you've shown for subjecting yourselves to the possibility of dressing up as a dance hall girl is admirable (and slightly insane).

We'd also like to thank all the voters for coming out and supporting your favorite candidate for Decision 2004.  The community-wide outpouring of support for the candidates and the cause of opening up the stage at the auditorium is greatly appreciated.

And finally, we'd like to thank CedarVision and the Cedar County News for their coverage of Decision 2004 which contributed greatly to its success.  A blanket thank you goes to anyone who spread the word and encouraged participation in this campaign.
